Here is the Purple Carpet List and Assignments. Please read over the list and pay attention fo call times. Only Lily, Gabe, and Kamryn will need wrist bands.

PROCESS FOR PURPLE CARPET CHECK-IN:
STEP 1: ENTREY-At the designated check-in time, students who are not performing or working in the show will enter through their designated Line Entrances. Lines A & B enter through the Ballroom doors, Line C enters through the main lobby entrance for ticket scanning and security screening.

STEP 2: Check-IN-
Line A & B will have a check-in table located in Pre-Function.
Line C will select ONE representative of the group to Check-in at the table located in the Lobby near the sliding glass doors (to the right of the concierge desk)
PERFORMING GROUP LINE C CHECK-IN: You will leave through the ballroom doors and follow the traffic pattern towards the main lobby entrance. Once inside you will gather as a group and proceed as indicated above.

STEP 3: GO TIME- After the student(s) is(are) checked-in, they will be directed towards their lines and await further instructions by the line organizers regarding their assigned “GO TIME”. Those students in Lines A and B will be given introduction/interview cards. These cards are to be handed to the student announcer upon exiting the vehicle who will read the names of those arriving in the Kia cars. Those school groups in Line C will be given one card to hand to the presenters. All students walking purple carpet MUST have a form of entry (ticket or backstage credential)

NOTE: Students must arrive no later than 15 minutes before their GO TIME. Students who arrive late to their lines have forfeited their position and will not be guaranteed a spot to walk the purple carpet.

STEP 4: ON THE PURPLE CARPET:
Your name or school name will be announced as you arrive and hand your card to Trever Arnold or Emily Marx (2023 Leading Performer Winners). In addition, individual nomination categories, musicals, and other recognitions will be called out on the card for presenters to include in your announcement.
If you are given an additional interview card, you will proceed down the purple carpet and end at the Interview Circle to complete an interview with Rubin Barksdale. There will be someone helping to guide you to your spot as you wait for your turn to be interviewed.
In addition, there will be S.T.A.R. Council social media reporters who will be engaging students with fun group photos, boomerangs and short clips.

STEP 5: RE-ENTRY:
Your credentials/ticket will be checked to allow re-entry into the building through the terrace doors.
Once in the building, we encourage you to visit the merch table to checkout this year’s GHSMTA’s “Sweet 16” Anniversary t-shirt .
Those students/chaperones performing and/or who have backstage passes will proceed to the backstage hallway door located on the farthest ride side of the lobby next to the elevator.
